On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, SOARing DX-VN project, in coordination with British University Vietnam (BUV), successfully organized the Digital Transformation Workshop specifically designed for BUV managers and senior staff from both academic and professional services departments.
Led by Assoc. Prof. Mike Perkins (Project Lead) and Mrs. Le Thi Tan (Project Officer), this workshop is part of the Digital Transformation Workshop series, hosted by the British Council-funded SOARing DX-VN project. The participants had the opportunity to explore the Digital Maturity Self-Assessment Tool and share their department’s perspectives and gain actionable ideas for institutional improvement.
The session brought together 55 participants from BUV, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor and senior leaders, along with 2 SOARing DX project members from Tra Vinh University – Dr. Tieu Thanh Thuy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Khanh.
Participants actively engaged in hands-on group activities discussing the rationale for digital transformation, identifying key challenges and solutions, and developing resource allocation strategies for Digital transformation.
The session successfully equipped BUV leaders with actionable tools and proven strategies for digital transformation, resources co-developed in the UK and successfully piloted across Vietnamese institutions.
